GRRRRRR

I tend to think that I am a very easy going person but there are 3 things that annoy me more than anything else.
First up is when people yawn when they are talking. As a fellow human I understand yawns so when I yawn I always stop talking till it is over, no offense to those of you that yawn and talk, there is nothing threatening or mean about it, it just annoys me.

This puppy is very cute when it yawns.->

The next thing that annoys me is when you text people (Yes I'm a texter) and they reply with 1 word texts. I would understand if you were busy or just plain didn't want to text me, but when I explain how awesome my day has been in detail and I receive "cool" it feels condescending... it's the problem with texting, words mean different things to different people, which is why I constantly use smiley faces to get my point across :)

The last annoying thing.... the reason for the blog altogether.... is when people get really mad in public places and proceed to take it out on people who are at work in those public places. I was across the street buying a ridiculously large mountain dew slurpie and the gentleman in front of me was returning beer cans. (YAY for recycling!!!)
But he had brought quite a few cans... and the cashier only accepted 50 of them. The guy went on like this 5 minute rant about how he bought all the beer there and that he should be able to turn it all in there too. The poor clerk just stood there and took it. I have never worked as a gas station clerk but I assume it has to be a pain to take in used cans.

All of these things annoy me but I RARELY ever confront people and never hold grudges if someone is annoying to me

Now for the constructive part of the blog.

If you feel the need to yell at a person you have never met before think of a few things first :)
1. Think if the reason you are angry is the person, the situation, or the day you've been having in general. There is really only 1 thing that stranger has control over and karma has its way of turning around if you just stay positive.
2. Think about it from the other persons perspective. The guy who came into the gas station had well over 200 cans, The woman was polite when she explained to him how it was a policy she had no control over and I'm sure she would have gotten in trouble taking in more than 5 dollars worth from one customer.
3. Think if what you're about to say is appropriate for the situation. If the waitress takes longer than expected don't ask if she is stupid... instead ask if they are understaffed that particular night. 9 times out of 10 there is a reason and they will explain. Not only will they know they need to bring your order, but you will probably get the best service of all the other customers.
4. Finally if after considering all of these possibilities you still feel the urge to yell, kill them with kindness!!!!
There is nothing more insulting to someone who is instigating than to keep them from the out come they so long for.
So if you are an angry person, know a angry person or are surrounded by people who make you angry; remember to chill, relax and smile often. It's the holidays use it as an excuse to be nice!!
